My Bio
i've been drawing most of my life but i started drawing comics semi-regularly at age 13 (i was born in 1975 so you figure what my age is now, i forget sometimes...).
between 1995 and 2001 i did two self-published ashcan series: BODY SLAM COMICS (5 issues and a 1-shot)and BODYSLAM PRESENTS: JIMMY BONDO w/DISCOMAN (4 issues).
2001-2005 i did drawings and a comic for a website called TROUBLESUM for writer nathan cross.
in 2007 i wrote and drew THE ADVENTURES OF MARTY MALONE which was meant to be an ongoing web comic but only one issue was finished. it is posted on deviantart.
circa 2009 i started the webcomic THE ORDER OF THE HABERDASHED STUPENDOUS (based on characters created by Nathan Cross and friends) which was meant to be one regular-size comic broken into several parts posted every month or so. two parts are finished and posted on deviantart.
my drawing of JUDGE DREDD (colored by deviant misformac) was featured on the cover of local free newspaper FLINT COMIX January 2014 issue.
in the last few years i've been trying to refine my inking and computer coloring skills using paint shop pro (no $$$ for PS & illustrator). i
feel free to comment on the drawings but be kind, okay? my strength lies in penciling although my inking and coloring skills are improving.
in my spare time i also enjoy xbox as i said as well as waaaay too much TV, comic books, stand up comedy, eating, and alt-rock music.
i also hold a bachelor's of science in community/clinical psychology from u of m-flint

Flint Comix Judge Dredd Cover

just letting you know that i and misformac (me: pencils/inks, formac: colors) have a drawing of Judge Dredd we did gracing the cover of Flint Comix, a free sponsor-supported newspaper publishing both local and national comic strips based in, you guessed it, my hometown of Flint, Michigan. you can see it here on facebook and if you live in our area, you can pick up a copy at local retailers like Comic Relief and other various stores. they have mail subscriptions availble (which will cost a little for shipping i think) but you'd have to contact them, probably via the above fb link or email flintcomix@gmail.com for details.
